We recently acquired a First Contact Physiotherapist for muscular and joint issues and they are able to diagnose and initiate investigations and treatment. Appointments for this are available through reception : please ask for this as this may be more helpful than seeing a doctor for these issues.

If you are having concerns about social problems and benefits issues then our social prescriber is available to help. Please ask reception about this.

Finally we now have a new system called PATCHS which will allow you to make an online query with a doctor or administrative staff to help you with your problems : please see the home page for a link to ask questions online.

Morning appointments are available from 08.00am. We will endeavour to give you an appointment with the doctor of your choice. However, individual doctors' availability will vary according to the doctors' commitment to particular clinics, on-call sessions and holiday cover.

Mark Street Surgery in Rochdale aims to provide high quality primary care to our whole population by putting our patients at the centre of what we do.

Our doctors, nurses and all our other staff are dedicated to offering a professional, caring and multidisciplinary service.

This surgery website will help us to keep all our patients up to date with news and information about our practice.

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like. We can use your ideas to improve our online services and further develop the content of this site.

Please note our Advanced Practioner Alison is unable to see pregnant ladies or children. The role of the Advanced Practioner is to provide direct care, diagnosis, treatment, prescribe medication and refer patients onto other medical specialities for assessment if deemed appropriate.

Disabled access to the surgery is via the front doors and there is a disabled WC available at ground floor level.
