“If you have any communication/information needs relating to disability, impairment or sensory loss that you want us to know about, please speak to our reception team so we can record your preferred method of contact and ensure you can receive your health information in a format you can understand, for example large print.”

We are now providing an electronic prescribing service.  If you nominate a preferred local pharmacy we can send your prescriptions directly to them electronically.  The advantage of this service is that you will not have to collect the prescription from the surgery, simply collect the medication from your pharmacy.  If you are interested, please go to your preferred pharmacy and they can arrange.

We now have an on-line service for making appointments and ordering prescriptions at the surgery.  If you are interested in this service and have not already registered, please speak to the receptionists.

This group is made up of patient representatives, general practitioners and management staff.  The group has now met three times and are in the process of discussing the views put forward from the questionnaires at the PPG meetings to come up with an action plans.

You may be entitled to an NHS Health Check please check with Reception.

This involves an appointment with the Practice Nurse who will record medical details, check height, weight, blood pressure and relevant blood tests.  She will then review your case following the results.

diaryAppointments can be arranged by telephoning 01706 643183 or by enquiring at the surgery reception in person.  We also have an online service for booking appointments, please ask at Reception if you are not already registered for this (ID is required to register).

All our doctors are available daily at the surgery Monday to Friday except for:

Dr Titterton who is available Monday to Thursday

Dr Zaman who is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Dr Zaman is currently on maternity leave)

Morning appointments are available from 08.00am and we have early morning appointments starting from 07.00am Monday to Thursday and 07.30am on  Friday. We will endeavour to give you an appointment with the doctor of your choice. However, individual doctors' availability will vary according to the doctors' commitment to particular clinics (see Clinics and Services page), on-call sessions and holiday cover.

Appointments can be booked in advance up to four weeks providing that the information is available.

Urgent Appointments

Patients ill enough to require being seen by a doctor urgently are always given access to a doctor the same day. Genuine emergencies are provided with immediate medical attention. Misuse of these services disrupts the work of the practice and is actively discouraged.

Cancelling Appointments

If you cannot keep your appointment for any reason, please telephone to cancel in good time so that this appointment can be offered to someone else.  There is a designated option on the telephone answering service to make cancelling an appointment easier.  Please press for option 4 and follow the instructions.  You can also cancel your appointments on line.

Please be prompt for your appointment. If you are late please be advised that the doctor or nurse may not be able to see you and you may be asked to book your appointment for another day or time.
