If you are 16 years of age or over with foot problems and registered with a Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale GP you can now self-refer to Podiatry.  Parents or guardians can refer their children under the age of 16 years.

The following problems can be self-referred:

Foot infection

Ingrowing Toenail

Thickened nail

Corns/Callus

Foot related knee pain

Previous foot surgery

Achilles/ankle pain

Foot ulcer

Pained curved nail

Dry skin

Heel pain

Painful flat feet

Forefront pain

Please do not self-refer for the following conditions:-

Routine nail cutting and skin care including corns and callus in healthy patients

Verruca

Bunions

Fungal Nail Inections
